LMFAO!! 75 Ring Shell Rockets!!!! That will take you ages to get through them unless your multi firing.:rotfl:

Yeah they are awesome, we got loads! Hope you enjoy your display Epics stuff is great! :)

Thanks :) yeah 75 rockets will take a while to get through, it was either those rockets or the scream & pop ones.

I'll be taking some video with my canon HV20. Should be a good bonfire night, enjoy yours too
  • Martins newsagents had several fireworks on 75% off, not sure if it is nationwide, but very good at the price.

My friend ordered £350 worth from Epic Fireworks. They called him up at 8:30 when he was on the Tube underground to say they were delivering (no prior notice). Delivered 30 minutes later, he obviously wasn't home, so they took it to the council estate round the corner. Left it with someone there.

He went round later, the resident said they had left the eight boxes and dozens of kilos of fireworks outside the building (who knows if it's true), of course they have gone, bye-bye fireworks. I think they are sending more though. The thieving !!!!!! had better let them off a long way away, because £300 worth is visible for miles away.

    I recently went to a wholesale place in Manchester and got;
A Dancing Red Devil Platinum Premium Display Rocket Assortment Pack £60 should be £150!
A Diamond Platinum Selection Box £60 should be £90!
AND to round off a HUGE Diamond Eruption 4000 Shot Roman Candle Cake Barrage at £45 should be £70!
All those should make for a super display!
The 22 rockets in the pack are in various sizes from medium large extra large to XXL for the 4in ballhead rockets and have four launch tubes,
The fireworks in the box are mainly Cat2(Diamond Fireworks have downgraded a lot of their material from Cat3 25m ratings because they were a bit piddling tame and gentle at 25m away to say the least),
And the cake barrage is a HUGE thing;this either needs burying to the line on the side in a plastic bag in case the ground is wet or earth is soggy OR gaffataping to a wooden stake driven into the ground(which is my preferred method).

Safety distances are usually 25m for Cat3 retail display fireworks and 5m for Cat2 retail garden fireworks. BUT I have found certain fireworks that say 25m are quite tame at that distance ie many of British Bulldog's selection box firework fountains say 25m but are very tame and gentle at that distance away.
  • Does anyone know what will happen from March next year when large rockets (over 20g NEC) go into UN HD1.3G? I understand this makes them more difficult/impossible to store/transport.

Will we still be able to buy large rockets?
  • Hi,

Just wondering if anyone perhaps has a Lidl firework leaflet they could scan in to show what they have on offer?

Also which ones are worth getting and which ones you would stay clear of

    Many thanks in advance
