They don't normally do that - so I'm assuming they won't do it this year either. They do however seem to sell the same range for new years eve with a couple of quid knocked off the usual price.

I do not think any supermarkets discount fireworks anymore
  • good luck to anyone who is having there fireworks tonight hope all goes well.

Glad to hear you had a good (if wet) night last night Si, hope your display goes well tonight and it stays dry for you!

Ive just been the asda now and came back with a pack of Powder Keg mines @ £3 for 2! Oh and a pack of sparklers! They still had loads of pyro left instore!

Cheers Dan  Blue skies here at the mo, hope it stays like this!
I've got a couple of the Kegs, supposedly excellent - do you mean you got a pack of two for £3 or two packs for £3? Just checking I'm not missing a last minute Asda BOGOF deal!

Lets PREY Lidl go BOGOF or 50% discount Monday eh :D

Think it's the price rather than any outright mind blowing breathtaking uber pyro awesomeness. For £1.50 they pack a decent punch :D

EDIT: After my experience of TNT products last year, I have vowed never, ever, to buy anything made by TNT ever again.

Had a few TNT fireworks this year and only the Liberator box was a let down because it had no bangs at all

Terminal Velocity : very good i was letting of 6 at a time
Sky Jubilee : Let 2 of these off very good for £2.50 a shot
Colour Explosion : For £10 for two id rather add another £2 and get a few more of the lidl cakes but still decent

No Si, was £3 for 2 not two packs haha!

Had a brilliant display last night!

Firing 3 25 carats and 2 inpanemas does make you just realise how powerful and loud those lidl cakes are!

As for fire fighter it was amazing! Looked like a piece that cost a LOT more than £9.99. Firstly bright shots and then followed by lots of orange bursts which the colours were just amazing and there were so many of these (and there was a small gap when these had finished firing) that I thaught along with the audience that this was the end of the cake we all cheered and then bang bang bang a load of shots went up for around 20 seconds! Amazing firework and if its available for new year I will buy more deffinitly! Everyone was completly surprised when I said all of my display (bar the wheels) where from Lidl and all for around £40!! Brilliant night and weco did us soo proud this year!

Roll on new year and next Bonfire night!
