The Great Cheap, Safe Fireworks Hunt

Ive just lit a few fireworks from the Fire pack. They are amazingly loud! Especially those two blue cones that come in their own box, also the large chico whistle firework is very loud. The crackle effect on all of the fireworks in the box are SOO loud its amazing! Never heard anything that loud from a selection box before!

Wish I had baught another box now! Will be top of my list for new year if available!

Also just an update when standing outside now alls you can hear are bangs in the distance so far there hasnt been 5 mins without a bang! Sounding good! EDIT: want to update that now there has not been around 10 SECONDS without a bang

Although I actually think that there will be loads of fireworks going off tomorrow as I know throughout the pyro world there are a lot firing their displays tomorrow and I also think a lot of families will opt for firing on the saturday, maybe having a party too!

Hi guys, I visit this forum every year around this time, and I have to come online and say thanks for all of the good advice and deals...I will be having my firework party tomorrow night.

I had bought 10 of the Airborne Assault rockets mentioned earlier in the thread and accompanied by a very poor video of them from Brightstar.

I have to say I think they have the wrong video, I had bought these to use as a finale and I didn't want it to be like a fart in a hurricane so I tried one earlier...

i have added these to my stash http://s1180.photobucket.com/home/trickyrickxx i have also let off all of the fireworks and really enjoyed them apart from the big rockets they was extreamly poor(both lifted to house high then shot off side ways and fell to the ground behind a house and exploded but everyone was i ok i went and checked) the lidl fireworks was all good as the libarator pack was worth the money the tnt rockets were ok but wouldnt bother with them again next year infact i am staying away from all rockets next year as i feel they are over priced for what they do.the two big fountains was great would defanatly go for them next year. all weco was great the cakes was anazing for the price as was the firepack. hope everyone has good firework and safe

I've Just let off 'Stormy - Monster Bang' from Weco Cocktail of Rockets. It blew me away totally! it had a colossul effect, burst as round as an arial shell, considering its size, it was just epic! I would totally reccomend Cocktail of rockets, as well as Fire Pack, 25 Carat, Fire Fighter and cyber box. WECO FTW!!!

Are you sure the Lidl rockets are good??? I still think the Terminal Velocity are great from Aldi.

I'm 100% sure. Well i know that they are better quality than terminal velocity. Terminal has lower quality, but much higher quantity.

Just finished the display here is a small review

Impanema : IMO was better than the 25 Carat nice bangs and excellent Reports and for £6 a pop

25 Carat : Alot of hype to this and i must say very nice the Gold colour was spot on not very Sky filling

Atom Bomb : Bang of the night no question

Firefighter : This might be on of the best fireworks ive seen for £10 Mix bag of bangs Whitles Crackling you name it the Orange report from these might be the best coulour ive seen from a firework

Black Mamba Rockets : Very impressive for the money nice bang and big amount of colour

SFX Rocket Pack : Very impressed with the hight these went still think the Atom bombs bang was bigger

Demolition Rockets : Nice effect but for £20 a rocket RRP im not sold on these glad i got them free

Flashing Thunder : Got this at the last minute Very nice candle felt like the Old school bangs (Brightstar)

Aldi Liberator : Must say this was worth the money but nothing amazing

Rage Mega Pack : Collosal 8 Shot , Polaris 8 Shot , Obsession 25 Shot , Mirage 30 Shot
Were all exelent set all 4 off at once just before my finale

Finale

Diablo 30 Shot , 2 SFX Rockets , 2 Black Mamba Rockets , 1 Atom Bomb

Its was all over the place wish i had fuse to get them going off at the same time Atom Bomb went first very good bangs and nice coulour then 4 rockets went off but my Diablo didnt do anything smoke was still coming out of it gave it around 5 minutes but nothing just left it out the back hopefully not a rude wake up call tonight :rotfl:


Hope my local lidl has some excess stock cause those Impanema cakes were Amazing


Neighbors had a nightmare he set up his fireworks outside 5 Minutes before lighting and the rain started all his fuses were wet then he set off a atom bomb and the bang Smashed the windows in his greenhouse :rotfl: very impressed with his finale

think it cost £59 in total very nice lasted a good 3-4 minutes and i was very jealous

Personally I think Terminal Velocity are the best in any supermarket for £10 for 16 rockets.
