  • That would be my guess, the prices there are very cheap, much cheaper than normal retailers, it's unsurprising he wanted to check if they were genuine.

don't be so rude, considering that the site hasn't been updated since November 2006, and I think has gone out of business (they didn't answer my email), it's clearly not spam.

You should apologise for your rudeness.

To answer his question, http://www.epicfireworks.com cheap, but you need to pay £250 to get free delivery.
Thanks, im looking on there right now. They state prices without vat, and then 17.5%? so they actually cost a bit more.. Why not just post the full price including vat?

How much would delivery cost under £250?.

Hmm.. i just noticed, you cant buy barrages seperately? same with rockets you have to buy cartons apparently, bit disappointing
  • It's because they are a wholesaler, not retailer.

  • You can buy rockets separately from ther warehouse in Batley. It really is worth the drive up there for the price.

Anyway just been looking at Netto and they seem to have some really cheap prices: http://www.netto.co.uk/internet/nettog/menu/main.nsf Click on the leaflet at the top left then scroll down the right hand side and click on page 7.

Can anybody give me some advice on that Cosmos cake from Lidl?

Oh and i hear the CO-OP's fireworks are as expensive as always! :(

Cheers i will definately be getting it after all the reviews i have heard now!

As for the Asda 'Blast Zone' i am unsure. Last year we got the one called 'ThunderBolt' as a supplement which is a bit thurther up than the 'Blast Zone' and i was a little dissapointed with it, big looking fireworks inside, crap effects, so i would say avoid it. Take a look in Netto, Aldi or Lidl at there boxes.

However i would like to hear someone else's opinion on 'Blast Zone'. How much are they charging for it now? I still have Asda's leaflet from last year so would be able to see if the price has gone up/down.

    i had thunderbolt too. rubbish.
i heard lidl's boxes arent too good either . . .but their cakes and rockets are definitely worth getting.
asda's blast zone: have changed contents this year: 25 in a pack, last year it was 33. i think they have just got rid of those tiny fountains.
    price is: £19, or 2 for £30.
any suggestions for good cheap-ish boxes would be greatly appreciated.

There are only a few thing that are not in wholesale quantities:

    Display Packs http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=0&CAT_ID=1
    Wedding Packs http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=0&CAT_ID=2
    New Years Packs http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=0&CAT_ID=3

    All starting at £250

The larger barrages are sold in singles or pairs, which is manageable:

    http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=6&CAT_ID=20
    http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=6&CAT_ID=21
    http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=6&CAT_ID=22

Their non-wholesale selection boxes are unfortunately all sold out.

    Plus sparklers:

    http://www.epicfireworks.com/shop/prodtype.asp?strParents=0&CAT_ID=11

    Otherwise, go there in person.

    Apart from that:
    http://www.discountfireworksdirect.co.uk/

    £30 delivery

£100 for delivery.. they must be joking

and as for discountfireworks direct, i emailed them days ago and never got a response.. when i emailed them last month i got an email back straight away so im not sure whether they are trust worthy.

I wanted some good barrages this year at cheap prices, looks like i wont be getting any.. :(

Batley is 171 miles away from here.
