I might get some of those cosmos cakes from lidl, since a few people say they are good? anyone know how long they last?
Also what about that 2 minute cake in aldi.. the blockbuster, anyone know if its worth the cash>?
still waiting for a reply from discount fireworks..0 -
I have a question about epicfireworks, alot of their fireworks dont have reviews.. so its hard to tell if some of their fireworks are any good, by which i mean duration & loudness etc.. I'm gonna have to order soon and time is running out if i dont order within a week i suppose. So i guess this site is more trustworthy over discountfireworksdirect? they seem really slow responding, i dont think im going to get any response from them which is disappointing seeing as how they seem to have pretty big cheap cakes and barrages.0

Hey WelshJester. A lot of people have not writen reviews for certain fireworks yet.
But one thing you can be sure of is what ever you get you wont be dissapointed. All the barrages have videos you can watch so you get an idea of what your getting, but Epic dont sell crap, i am getting the 'Omega Bomb' barrage 24 shot air bomb style thing for £3.60! As well as selection boxes. Most of there barages are hand picked, or made by Epic so you will get top stuff dont worry.
Epic are probably the best out there.
And visit this link and post a message on there underneath the vid: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=DGlOW1IY-Mg
They will get back to you really quickly.0 -

They will get back to you really quickly.only bad point about Epic is having to spend £100 quid on delivery unless you spend £250 on fireworks  so of course, unless i buy 250 quids worth then it wont be worth it.
as for DFD i got an email back from them saying they would charge £25 delivery. But they still havent said how payment is even madeim not sure about them, anybody else? they only have a mobile number for contact aswell.
it seems Epic is the best but first i have to decide whether i can or should even spend £250 lol :beer:0 -

quite a lot of money isn't it..... The Conspiracy pack looks excellent to me, though I'd look at the New Year/Wedding packs as well, they are similar to Guy Fawkes boxes, but instead of the rocket box, you get big barrages. If you look at the individual fireworks in it, most of them have video links to youtube, so you CAN see which ones are good before you buy. Some of the fireworks are just STUNNING.
Maybe you can go halves with someone else.0 -

35 shot each so id say about a minute-2mins.
im getting from lidl: 1 x Hayleys Comet, 1 x Rainbow (these are good also), and 2 x Cosmos.
my next door neighbour and my uncle both spent quite a bit on aldi fireworks 2yrs ago and not one worked properly, in fact i read that they had been taken off the shelfs in some places. so personally, i wont buy any from aldi since i am on a tight budget, i dont want to be wasting any money. but some people have said aldi's fireworks are great now - cant say much more im afraid.
if you are also looking for some good rockets, get the 'gold medal' from lidl. 4pack for £5. very impressive.
also, i know a few people on here have bought the black nebula selection box from lidl before, i was wondering if you could remember how many multi-shots/roman candles were in it. i always try and go for a box with lots of r/c but not sure which is the best.

The gold medal rockets sound good.
Im getting from Lidl 1 x Gold Medal rockets and 1 x Comsos as supplements to the stuff i am geting from Epic. Then of to Netto to get a pack of Sky bomb rocket for £2.49.
Epic are probably the best out there tbh, really good value and top fireworks.0 -
