E-bay refunding buyer but I've not received the item back!

Hi lainemd, I feel your pain entirely. E-bay are now chasing me for £170 saying my account is in arrears and it's been suspended until I pay them the sum. I've e-mailed a response every time they contact me (every other day for 2 weeks), saying until they explain to me why they reversed the transaction after saying they wouldn't, not investigating properly, and not ensuring the pc was returned to me, they aren't getting a penny from me. Strangely enough, not heard a word back from them, just another e-mail asking for money.
