Ditto. I don't see any 0800 numbers in the original list or on the BG website.

Neither did I, but read your own original post above...or did you actually mean "to get hold of 0800 numbers, go to www.saynoto0870.com" - if so, that's not what you said...

Also use https://www.saynoto0870.com for 0800 numbers

    The statement is unambiguous!

    Have you ever used saynoto0870?

    Yes, I have.

Ok, I'm in a minority of one.

However, I read the original statement as "Also, use saynoto0870 for {as in to get cheaper alternate numbers for} 0800 numbers".

The intent was clearly "Also, use saynoto0870 for 0800 numbers {as in to get hold of equivalent 0800 numbers for the 0845s above}".

I'm not stupid. I've got multiple degrees, and spend my life looking at legal texts. I can accept that I mis-read the intent of Tom's mail. Apologies for that. Can you accept that it is open to misinterpretation, and not "unambiguous"?

I too thought it was completely unambiguous - but with the meaning that bunking_off suggested, especially coming immediately after a post with an 0800 number in it! How about "use saynoto0870 for 08 numbers" ?;)
ok, so that doesn't work either....

I am with the unambiguous camp!

However I do love semantic discussions, or even discussion on semantics.

Might be worth making this a sticky Admin people

Why would you want a sticky to promote stealth revenue sharing rip off 0845 numbers. Lets not make it a sticky and promote more use of the saynoto0870 site.

Trouble is you won't get hold of them quickly on 0845 as they are revenue sharing numbers and it is to their advantage to hold you in a queue, as the longer you are in it the more money they make and the larger your phone bill.
There are enough threads on here to that point.
