ajmoney thats better news for both of you - yes I agree its not nice to feel like 2nd best but it means less heartache for you both so has to be good outcome - you wont be worrying about finances or a new job for DH - I hope the person you had to speak to takes it all onboard and behaves better.
Ishtar great news about the new job and I am sure DH will cope for the training weekend - he will just have to or phone his Mum!

ajmoney - I'm pleased about your good news. Looks like the job was meant to be your OH's all along. I don't like confrontations either, but I'm getting better at making my point.
Mollina - belated Happy Birthday! I'm glad you had a good time.
Sitting on the sofa with DS1, who may well have passed his cold onto me. I was at work until 5.45 tonight, as all computers have been on go-slow and I had to set work for my classes tomorrow. Not achieved much since then and I'll be off to bed in a minute. I'm just going to stick the TD, DW and WM machine on - oh, and the kettle for a cuppa. I took my wheatbag to bed last night and it was lovely to cuddle up to. I've almost finished my book, so won't be tempted to stay up too late.
Course in York tomorrow! :j Dropping DS2 off at breakfast club as usual, then I'm heading for the motorway.
Could I please ask for some of the famous flylady vibes? A good friend and colleague has been called back to hospital after a mammogram. She was seriously ill 9 years ago with sarcoidosis (sp?) and it took her years to get back to full-time work. Her mum has been ill for some time now and is often in hospital. She works so hard and always has time for me. She could do with a break.
Good night - and hugs to all, but especially everyone not feeling too great.

Just popping in quickly as tired and on my way to bed! Went to see A Question of Sport yesterday which was fab but now need sleep!
Hope everyone is ok - I will try and catch up with everything on Friday.
Having just seen the weather forecast  please all take care if you are out and about over the next couple of days.

Good morning  I'm aiming to finish the front of DD's quilt this morning as we're off to Dunelm tomorrow to buy fabric for the back :j I need to do more from my Flylady list, too
I have a meeting at DD's college this evening, and she's staying late in Leeds to meet her brother and some friends and they're off to see Stornaway (pity they didn;t offer to get me a ticket). I'm going to go in early and meet her for a coffee, so thst she's not hanging around for ages
