    Afternoon

Just having a wee break from the gardening and then back outside to the sun.

Weetabix cake is like Piggers says a waster of the other ingredients. My kids love cake, I love cake, make a nice cake it is supposed to be a treat. Just don't buy weetabix if nobody likes them and you have to use them up. I feed the crumbs from the weetabix box to the worms in the wormery, they seem to like them.

    Mollina Happy Birthday

Toots - sorry Cornhill has finished I know how much you valued your time there

I have a date for the fence panels being delivered so hopefully that job will be done by the end of the month.

Back to the garden for me now.

I didn't like the weetabix recipes either, but don't let me put anyone off - I am rather faddy with eating.

Out all morning, and I have half an hour till the school run. Visitor staying from tomorrow and we really are grim again. Since I got home I have tidied the room she will be sleeping in tomorrow, interrogated the cats as to who left a little present under the bed , and piled up some washing including the duvet, which a black cat with dirty paws has been sleeping on. Huge amoun ts to do and I am can only do upstairs whilst the boys are not here.

Only skimmed sorry, so hugs for those in needs, and Happy Birthday Mollina

Been doing a bit of a throw inthe cupboards, hoover, and put things back into shape ready for the cottage viewing. But I am worn out. the vac has decided that it wanted to detatch it selt from the vanbelt so I have had to use a handbrush on the carpets. DGD has decided to help herself to the crumbliest cake after i had done my magic, and so I have had to go back over it all.
Am exhausted! My arm thinks that its been on a marathon of its own.!

If its not done, its going to have to stay not done, I just cannot do anymore.
    Toys are in the bedroom
    Clothes etc put away
    coats hung up
    shoes in the cupboard
    fireside tidied
paperwork in hiding in the ottoman
washing up done and put away
    Bathroom blitzed.
(but its still a bit yuk if you look closely):(

I've finished for the day outside as my hands were freezing and it is impossible to weed out violets with gloves on.

Time for a little online shopping and then dinner to prepare.

sending posi-vibes to you and OH at this difficult time.

Grateful admittedly, there's only Mr LW's socks to worry about, but I always put them in a mesh laundry bag to wash, and hang them up in their pairs. Once they're dry, Mr LW folds them round in their pairs before putting away. I also count 'em into the bag before I wash, and if there's one gone AWOL, we search for it straight away in the rest of the washing. I've never had a divorced sock in eight and a half years! HTH.:o

I think I've done well today, as I had another rotten migraine this morning; but once the worst was over, I made myself press on, and so today's list is as done as I can manage.:o

Thanks for your support and hugs guys x
AJ I hope you got some sleep last night

I helped OH do some marking last night and we both started falling asleep through it. I don't remember him coming to bed so must have gone out like a light.

Things are looking better today. I spent a lot of time discussing my work problem with OH last night and this morning. I think I came to a good decision and approachd someone at work today to ask their advice, I asked someone else yesterday and they gave me loads of options but not necessarily what they would do (helpful, NOT)!

Anyway managed to speak to the person concerned today, probably wasn't as forceful as I should have been but I don't like confrontation, she got the message anyway.

In a wierd turn of events yesterday OH was offered the job! It's a shame it wasn't in better circumstance though, he got it because the other guy turned it down. He was quite truthful with his head yesterday in a polite way and was finishing his discussion today. He is going to take it but hates that he is a back up option/second best. However at least everything will stay the same now. I told him I thought he should just carry on doing the job as well as he does and be overly nice to the head to make him feel VERY uncomfortable.

Anyway, that is my essay over, we are going out for dinner to celebrate and should have an evening without one of us feeling cr*p.

Hugs to everyone, you are all great x
