Please report back of this works! Are you going to try it on a self-serve till?

Sorry peeps - did not work for me. SA was brilliant and tried a few variations, but the till always rejected the third voucher for the "free" item. I am surprised that it works on the SS as I thought they were programmed the same way? But obviously not as others have had success using 3 x vouchers and the 3 for 2 using SS. Will have to try those tomorrow unless someone else has a go today and reports back.

2 x skincare vouchers scan fine on the 3 for 2, so I think the best offer (if you haven't got the other Elle or Sanctuary vouchers) is 2 x Sanctuary facewash and a.n.other indulgent bathing item (eg S & G) and a gift bag all for the princely sum of £3-98. Would love to hear others combinations tho - I think this runs out tomorrow?
  • Hi, does anyone know if there are any face wipes included in this as that's the only thing I really need? Thanks!
  • This has reminded me I have a voucher that I need to spend before it expires tomorrow!

There are some items not included in this offer eg some cleansers.I wish people wouldn't jump to the conclusion that the sa is being nasty or does not know her job Boots have a habit of changing things without informing the staff.
I work at Boots and am happy to try any coupons the customer gives me I also get them extra points from the machine for if they have missed them.I also will point out any offers I know about and try my best to get them the best deal.
But sometimes you can't win when we have extra points days I will tell people who have spent close to amount that if they spend a little bit more (normaly between 50p and £2.00)they will get £10 back on their card most people are pleased to be told but some can be very rude.At this time of year we get loads of abuse it's not our fault that the store is busy,we have no staff, things are out of stock, the till won't let your coupon through(if we try to override this we could get the sack),that the offers are crap this year.

Sorry about the rant but I see people on here calling the staff dragons all the time yes you will get some nasty ones like in any workplace but most are nice and will do what they can to help. Also at this time of year we have a small number of christmas staff who are given about 10 mins training so maybe a bit unsure about alot of things.
  • I think Bluewater SS work differently to others because my local SS will query every voucher but then I think that's because the staff have more time to help because it's a smaller store. In Bluewater on SS all vouchers go through no query, I've never got a red light and there is never anyone manning them!!

Surprised the facial wash worked as offer doesnt include cleansers..................
I also had multiple vouchers accepted in the same transaction today. I handed over a Sanctuary detox mask (£9.99) and a Sanctuary facial wash (£6.99) together with two £5 skincare vouchers, expecting them to be put through as two separate transactions. The SA scanned both items, followed by both vouchers, and told me the products were on 3 for 2. I asked if I could go get another item - she asked what I wanted (another facial wash) and went and got it for me. I paid £6.98 for £23.97 worth of products, and was given another £5 voucher.

As I already had another couple of vouchers in my purse, I went and got another 3 detox masks, and went to the till hoping to get the same SA. Unfortunately, the till next to her became free first. I handed over my 3 products and two vouchers, expecting to have a struggle getting it put through - all went through fine, no questions asked, so another £29.97 worth of products for £9.98, plus I was gven another £5 voucher, so I still have 2 to use, presumably on another 3 for 2 combo! Would be great if you're putting together a skincare hamper.

Don't you just love Boots. I'm guessing this will be very much dependent on the SA, but the fact that multiple vouchers go through the till suggests that you could potentially do this on the self-service checkout.

Would 3 sanctuary facewashes and 2 vouchers work? Sorry just wondering why you added the indulgent item as your third....

    Hi Ellie

Yes, sorry - 3 facewashes and 2 vouchers would work, same price. It's just that I have got a few of these already using the voucher and this was a chance to try out a different product for free. The choice in the Indulgent Bathing offer is quite wide, but the choice of products for say £7 or under in the skincare voucher offer seems to be quite limited.

BTW, I also tried out the Sanctuary Radiance exfoliator thingy, but it was very gritty and not pleasant to use on the face, but it does make an excellent body scrub and the voucher works on it.
