Boots £5 facial skincare voucher

There's another combo you could do:
-Sanctuary face wash: £6.99
-Elle Macpherson Double Duty Cleanse and Scrub - £6.95
-Any other item from indulgent bathing that's £6.95 or less
-grab indulgent bathing giftbag (free w/3 items)
Hand over the £5 facial skincare voucher
Hand over the voucher for half price on any Elle Macpherson product from the back of the Boots magazine
Till deducts cheapest item on 3 for 2 indulgent bathing offer
So you pay £5.47 for three items and a giftbag. If you got the £3 Sanctuary coupon in the mailing, hand that over as well and pay only £2.47 for the lot.
I haven't checked the ACM vouchers yet, maybe something else will work with these facial skincare vouchers too.
I like this! I was going along to the next points night but needed to make up a spend. Am I right in thinking that this will count as approx £21 towards a £50 spend, but only cost £2.47?? Hope the answer is yes ....0 -
More small print:
Excludes ... Olay and L'Oreal Paris Dermo expertise cleanser, toner, wipes, face wash and Olay eye make up remover
Which the asst tells me the Roc wipes aren't included either. In my local mini-Boots there was nothing under 8.99.Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants - Michael Pollan
48 down, 22 to go
Low carb, low oxalate Primal + dairy
From size 24 to 16 and now stuck...0 -
Is there a current edition of the beauty magazine then, seeing as you mention an elle mcpherson product voucher. My SA at local Boots said the gift catalogue replaced the magazine until new year.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

Sorry, I think on the extra points nights the only amount that counts toward your total spend is the amount you actually pay, so you've got to actually pay at least 50 quid after any vouchers in order to get the points.0 -

She was wrong. Maybe she didn't know, or maybe that store didn't get any magazines in for some reason, but there is a November/December 2010 mag with Fearne Cotton on the cover.0 -

Oh - OK. Was wishful thinking. But it should work with some of the extra points vouchers in the mailing outside of one of the special events? I am still getting my head round this bootsing lark, ie what does and doesn't go thru the tills!0 -

Most of the time (if not all of the time), you don't get extra points with vouchers unless you actually spend the amount required to get the points. The only glitch I know of with vouchers or gwps is when the till sees the total spend and will let you have the gift or 5 quid off a 30 spend (for example) even though the item is now on sale and now actually costs less than 30 or you didn't actually spend enough to get the gwp after vouchers/sale price.
But extra points are pickier and you gotta spend the actual amount of cash required to get the points. The only points "glitch" (if it is one) is when you can use more than one points coupon -- for instance, you spend 25 pounds, and have coupons for extra points on a 20 pound spend and another for a 25 pound spend and the till lets you use both coupons. It won't let you use either, however, if you're not shelling out at least 25 quid. Actually, the worst bit is it may actually scan without beeping so the SA will keep the points voucher -- but if the amount you actually pay was less than the required amount you won't get the points and you won't have the voucher anymore, either.0 -

Just went into Boots and got the following:
Sanctuary 5 min Thermal Detox Mask - £9.99
Elle McPherson Body Scrub - £5.82
Sanctuary Hand Wash - £4.10
Handed over £5 facial skin voucher, half price Elle McPherson voucher, £3 off Sanctuary facial skincare and double points card. Paid £4.90 for the lot. Very happy as I deliberately went for products that I actually need as opposed to what was the cheapest.0
