If anyone has bought the Olay Cream Wash this go round with a voucher, please let us know! I know that for my 3 years of Bootsing, I've bought that wash almost every time that voucher was available. Haven't this time as I decided to give the Sanctuary wash a go.

Sorry, I tried this when I tried to spend my voucher, I only have a minuscule Boots locally.

    More small print:

Excludes ... Olay and L'Oreal Paris Dermo expertise cleanser, toner, wipes, face wash and Olay eye make up remover

Which the asst tells me the Roc wipes aren't included either. In my local mini-Boots there was nothing under 8.99.

  • I tried this twice with different combinations of products but it didnt work for me :( the elle mcpherson voucher scanned in but never seemed to actually get discounted.
Did same combination as well - £5 voucher came off, then scanned Elle Mcpherson voucher and looked like nothing happened until I pressed Total. £5.47 for Sanctuary face wash, Elle Mcpherson double duty cleanse& scrub and Soap&Glory Clean Girls + free gift bag - well pleased so will do again tomorrow as you get another £5 voucher and picked up another magazine.

Even though I'm registered with the Boots website I never seem to receive any mailings from them :( I used to but haven't had one for about 18 months.

I purchased the Time Delay Wrinkle Reduction Eye Cream for £1.99 using one of my vouchers. I have another one and looked at the Sanctuary Face Wash so might go back and get that with it :)

Last time when the SA told you that Olay cream wash didn't work, did she actually scan the voucher? SAs are wrong about a lot of things, but if the till takes the voucher without a beep, then it works!

Yeah i don't think she scanned the item but then i tried another SA with the cloths and he scanned it and that didnt work last time. So i left it and just brought the olay skin polisher.

Will try that face wash this time but is the Olay wash better or the sanctuary one? If i get another voucher wil buy both if they both work, lol.

I looked for the new magazine yesterday, i couldnt see any. I forgot to pick one up the week before when they had loads :(

    Thanks once again x.
  • Hi, sorry if someone has already asked this, but does anyone know if I can use more than 1 voucher per transaction? I am assuming that we can as it just states 'one voucher per qualifying item' but just wanted to check! I am hoping to get up to £50 with next week's points event, so would like to buy more than one item at once.

    Thank you!

you can only use 1 per transation but you can stand there and do lots of transactions. i do it all the time for customers(i work in boots) i often get people wiv 3-6 vouchers and just do them as single transactions. the customers do love coming to me as im always trying to work ways to save them money like the 3 for 2s etc like if they are getting 6 items in 3 for 2 i price check them all and work out for them the best arrangement to get the best deal on the freebie:D
  • Thank you fairytinkerbell :-)

I have about 4 to use, so at least I know now that I have to use one per transaction and can now work out my plan of attack!

Today I tried getting 3 of the small Sanctuary facial items at 2.50 each with the voucher. They rang up as 3 for 2 and I got the indulgent bathing giftbag for free, BUT the skincare voucher didn't work. Left it. (I expected this probably wouldn't work, but it was worth a go as stranger things have worked at Boots!)

Then I tried Olay Regenerist Thermal Polisher for 7.49. The voucher DID NOT work with that either! Left it, too. That's a shame, they let you get those for years on this offer.

Ah well, super deal days are few and far between at Boots anymore, lol.

There's another combo you could do:

    -Sanctuary face wash: £6.99
-Elle Macpherson Double Duty Cleanse and Scrub - £6.95
-Any other item from indulgent bathing that's £6.95 or less
-grab indulgent bathing giftbag (free w/3 items)

Hand over the £5 facial skincare voucher
Hand over the voucher for half price on any Elle Macpherson product from the back of the Boots magazine
Till deducts cheapest item on 3 for 2 indulgent bathing offer

So you pay £5.47 for three items and a giftbag. If you got the £3 Sanctuary coupon in the mailing, hand that over as well and pay only £2.47 for the lot. ;)

I haven't checked the ACM vouchers yet, maybe something else will work with these facial skincare vouchers too.

Can I ask if anyone has successfully managed to do the above?

I want to use my £3.00 voucher as well as the £5.00 voucher to do the 342 + bag for £2.47. Would loveto hear if anyone managed to get it to work?

    Thanx
