The 25% off six bottles at Tesco has finished now.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.

Good suggestion considering this is a money saving site. Champagne has got to be one of the biggest wastes of money that is possible to have.
Why pay stupid money for stuff like that when there is stuff that will give you the same effect for a fraction of the cost.
Oh sorry I forgot. It's a status symbol of I've got more money than you, I can afford to just p**s my money down the toilet.0 -
Bollinger is can be very good you are p[aying a bit for the name though, I take it this is the non-vintage (NV)? I think Taittinger is the best NV on offer at the moment or maybe the Lanson. Check this wesbite out it reviews champagne and wine http://www.supermarketwinereviews.com0

Hello. I noticed the other day on tesco grocery website'Domaine Perignon'- although the picture next to it is of normal 'Dom Perignon'
at £99.00 . It didnt say whether boxed or unboxed.
Cos they have the 25% off at the moment, this means, if i order one bottle with 5 other cheapo bottles of wine, i will get it for 75 quid.
The strange thing is , they dont sell it in the tesco store i live near, so i dont quite know where they would get it from when they deliver.
anyway, the point is, at 75 quid, is this worth it? I ask , because i wanted to buy it as a special present for someone, cos they say its fantastic, but it is really all a status thing?
Just wondered if anyone knows?
Thanks
Lets face it after a couple of glasses it all tastes the same, so why not save some money and buy a case of good cava instead. Your head will still hurt in the morning but your wallet will still be full!:beer:0
