Here's a comparison of the specs for all three devices :

On paper the Defy has a faster processor, bigger screen, higher resolution screen, better camera (only marginally better than wildfire) and all the tough phone features. The LG ships with Froyo.
Personally i'd rule out the wildfire straight off the bat just for being low spec vs the Defy's mid range spec. The LG isn't too far behind in some areas but has the advantage of Froyo that 'should' be coming soon (whenever that may be) to the Defy. Beyond that i cannot comment as i haven't used the LG as all.
I have been very satisfied with the Defy so far tho i did have to pull the battery out last night when using google goggles. It just froze. The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits0 -

Just ordered the Defy on the phone with T-mobile and got the handset for free, £10 a month for 100 minutes, unlimited texts and 3Gb internet - no haggling either, the sales guy offered that almost right away. Was adding it to an existing account as a second phone though. Very nice of them!0

I was using a Nokia E71 before the Defy. Had the Defy now 2 days and love it... Its blows the E71 away for most things and I thought that was an excellant phone!0
