Been driving for 6 1/2 years, no points, pull overs or accidents.

I've broken quite a few driving laws in my time as well so I'd say Im pretty lucky.
  • Ran a red light about 3 years ago, must admit it is something that I don't do regularly and was most definately a one off !So after 23 years of point free driving ended up with 3 points.
Pulled over by the police once as was not displaying a tax disc, but the tax disc holder had lost its sticking ability and it had fell on the floor ,so they let me on my way !

    Licence for 20years
Pulled over a few times mainly because I was young(ish) at the time adn driving cars such as Cavalier SRi or Celica GT when I was around 22,23. 2.0T 4x4 Cavalier at aged 27. etc etc
3 accidents - all non fault
    Never had any points.
Have been lucky a few times - flashed by speed cameras a couple of times but didn't hear anything. Was pulled over once for doing 60 in a 50 but it was mainly to check I was sober (I was) and the car not stolen since it was full (but not overloaded) of mates. Got a producer but nothing beyond that.

Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!

  • I can't help thinking that many responding to this thread are poking the fate dragon firmly between the ribs.

Just what I was thinking
  • Held mine for 2.5 years, no points, only pulled over once for excessive speed, got a warning and told to go on my way.
  • Clean licence for 21 years (so far)

2 accidents in that time, first was hitting a deer at 50mph late one night coming home from work:(

2nd was a moped rider hitting the back of my 18 tonner when I had to stop sharply in banbury one day, I'm pleased to say there was no damage to the lorry:T the moped was a write off, the rider was ok just a bit shook up lol

Got pulled over once on M5 for a missing tail light bulb:D
  • If you are going to start a thread about them, at least learn when to use a C or an S.

Been driving for 12 years at about 1000miles per week with a few powerfull cars and bikes no points so far but many a close call with plod.

its all down to where and when you speed/drive silly. if its in your going to collect some points out of town on NSL roads less chance of a court visit :T
