using ccleaner on registry?

I have used C Cleaner Registry cleaner on both my own PC and those of others on very many occasions and over a period of several years. I have never encountered a problem as a result of using it.

It will offer to create a back up for you in any case but if you want a real "belt & braces" approach - then also create a "Sytem Restore Point" beforehand.

Hi EriK, sorry about this, no trouble with malwarebytes, log is with old Hijackthis above.Hijackthis is the problem.I have used it before, no problems, never had the dialogue boxcome up before.Shift+right click does not bring up anything, zilch.right click on icon, as dialogue box does not have "run as admin"available?just clicking "ok" on dialogue box lets program to proceed and says log created.ask to save, I click yes.IT says log already exists do I want to replace.I click yes, then it shows the above log, which is 06/10.I have uninstalled it, deleted all old logs, just run another scan, same problem. Pings like it only selects shift once. ie - holding onto shift does nothing except ping once?

Is there something not set right with your keyboard?
