Loyd Grossman pasta sauces, Nescafe Gold and Heinz tomato ketchup. Everything else is Waitrose.
  • oh there is a few :D but not as much as there used to be!

green & blacks chocolate - would rather have less or go without than eat rubbish chocolate
    helmans mayonaise
    heinz tomato soup
    branston baked beans
    heinz tinned spaghetti
    riverway cumberland sausages
    HP brown sauce
    proper barcardi

wont say no to trying a different brand but the above are the ones that we have decided we wont compromise on.

Clipper organic tea for me, and Colmans english mustard.

I also prefer to buy Kerrygold, spreadable butter.
  • Tea/coffee for me too, cheap smart price def a no no.

Other stuff might taste a little different but you get use to it, but never did get the taste for very cheap tea/coffee UCK.

I will eat own-brand goods most of the time, but with a few exceptions:
Bread, have to have Warburtons Toastie
Coffee must be Kenco Smooth and Tea has to be PG Tips.
Will buy Tesco own brand "7 Up" type drink but for cola it must be Pepsi Max
I do try to get away with the own brand crisps but nobody really likes them so I stock up on Walkers when they're on offer
Butter, only use Country Life spreadable reduced fat.

I honestly think that's all, everything else is Tesco's own!
  • Coca cola
Ribena (but I hardly ever buy it - its extortionate)
    Heinz tomato ketchup
    Soreen malt loaf
    Lurpak spreadable.

The rest? Bring on the cheap stuff.

If the supermarkets read this forum (and I bet they do) none of this branded stuff that we won't do without will ever, ever be on offer ever again. Ever. lol
