Thankyou 'happyjack' my mother-in-law was talking about these the other day....at least I hope it was this one!....perfect christmas present for her :T0

Davina on the million pound drop looks like she is wearing the Buckley Poppy Brooch .. it looks great.. its smaller than a traditional paper one but I guess thats because of the weight of it any bigger it would fall forward on the lapel or clothing with the drag of it? That has got to be why the very expensive one at 84.00 quid was crotchted to keep the weight down and make a bigger size... ??0

Just ordered the Buckley Poppy. This will be fantastic as each year I buy my poppy and I lose it in 5 mins !!!!
I will wear it with pride next year and every year. Of course I will still continue to put my couple of quid in the box and won't have to fiddle with all the pins and crumpled flower.0 -
fuzzybear01, Yes that was the one, It says both the crochet one and the first one at £49.98 were worn by the X Factor judges but they were all wearing the same one.
I don't like the crochet one but they are all sold out anyway. Just as well, as I can't afford it anyway!:rotfl:0 -
My mum ordered hers last week and still hasn't received it

Is there a possibility that they took too many orders? Seems possible now they are showing as out of stock. My mum ordered one on the 28th oct I believe, and she's had nothing yet. I would have expected it to be here by now.0 -
under the pic of the brooch it says
Please note if you order this item we cannot dispatch your Buckley Poppy Brooch until new stocks arrive early December*

Am I the only person who thinks these companies are cashing in on the poppy appeal!? The Buckley one isn't too bad as at least that's on the official site, but some of the others just seem to be using dead troops as a way to sell their over-priced badges!

I ordered my Buckley brooch (and my mums) direct from the Poppy Shop online 2 weeks ago today and they had both arrived by the Tuesday, really great service
I have to say they are very subtle and I wear mine with pride, it's just a shame to see how much they are going for on ebay when they are supposed to be a charity item. Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1273VSP 2011 Member 92 - 723.070
