Damage to My Car (Neighbour)

I would like to stay civil with her but to be honest I just want it sorted out. If that means that I have to mention the police then so be it.
I understand that I need to find out who has done it but I am not sure she will be very forthcoming with that info....just a feeling!0 -

Post the link with a space in it, and someone else can repost it for you.
Or write it out, like www dot tinypic dot com/123455====0 -
Can't see the Police being at all interested as I doubt there was any intent to actually cause damage.
Give someone like Chipsaway a call. In my experience, they are excellent and a fraction of the cost of a main dealer.0 -

Im having a hard time seeing a rugby ball being thrown with enough force to do that. Maybe first contact but after that and bouncing off a fence/wall, i cant see it having enough momentum to do that, are you sure it wasnt done twice?
As i said though, a decent dent puller could get that out, i had something very similar that popper straight out. If you do it asap, the metal doesnt "set" in its new place (especially for the lower one with that crease in it), and should be much easier to pull. Call around mobiles and repair shops and you should get a quote.
Just for reference, mine was £60. But i think that was cheap.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -
you sure it was a rugby ball, looks like quite hefty damage for something like that.0

Well neither of the marks were there previously. The wall is about 2ft from the side of the car.
It was raining so I expect the ball (which is a bit battered anyway) was heavy.
I believe that the ball must have been kicked in the air (at some height) and then it hit the roof line and then bounced off the wall and hit the rear wing.
Im sure they were both done at the same time.
The other option is that someone had jumped over the wall and landed on my car! but the marks had a white residue at the point of contact.0 -
oh dear, what a horrible place to get the bump.0
