  • Actually, it's surprisingly quiet at work this morning. Using the time to get my essay turned into actually typed stuff!

Got a few more little bits for Christmas online - everyone needs smellies :D I also need to find/ make a stocking for Mr S as he bought me one last year.

Mr S: 3 books, posh pen and pencil set for sudoko sessions, shower gel
Friend 1: photo frames, fancy hand warmers, recycled pencil case, hand cream, soap
    Friend 2: photo frames
Mum: CD, book, hand cream, soap
    Dad: 2 books, soap

    ---
My essay now has 650 words - 350 to go, which should pretty much cover my quotations/ examples.

Squizz I got a lovely felt appliqued stocking in Home Bargains on Saturday for £1.99 ! It's not huge - just the right size to hang on the mantelpiece. HTH

Feeling a bit "ggggrrrrrrrrr..aaaaaargh!" today. Lots of hassly things at work and feeling like they should have put "psychic powers" as a requirement for this job.

On the plus side, went to a good course this morning, and the person I'm mentoring that I mentioned the other day has finished her qualification - hooray!

I'm also feeling puzzled, I'm sure I was going to go out and get/ do something at lunchtime but I can't remember what it was!

Ah I remembered - I was going to look for a book in the library but I found I could get it electronically instead. Quiet afternoon so almost finished my philosophy essay - not due in for another couple of weeks so no doubt there will be a few revisions. Not got much room to add anything in though as it has to be under 1000 words and I'm at 956. I'm quite pleased with it I think :)

Sounds good - always nice when you've got a positive focus during a slackish time at work.
