Ohhh yaaaaawwwnnn! Can't seem to get motivated (or awake) so far this week. At some point today I need some sort of list/ plan for work or I'm going to get really behind with stuff.
Anyway, today's aim is to either go and get sheet music from the library (found out there's quite a good stock) and/ or book the massage. Want to try and finish chapter of OU book tonight then do some extra reading over the next few days. I've also resurrected my blog after neglecting it over the holidays, I really must keep that up!Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
How lovely to have lots of sheet music available to you - and such a beautiful instrument to play it on. Stop yawning, you'll set me off again2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Working for a University it quite useful sometimes!
I've actually sometimes wished I played something else, but then when I do play, I remember that I found the right instrument for me, and it still feels right (I still want a piano too though)
Sorry about the yawning.... yaaawww... oopsDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

Morning! Ended up having quite a productive day yesterday work-wise - pleased with that!
Hoping to work from home tomorrow while waiting for my new laptop to arrive, so will attempt to actually make use of my lunch hour today and go to the library. Waiting for massage place to ring me back as I left them a message yesterday.
Finished chapter of OU book last night and did a bit of extra reading, quite happy that I'm on top of that for now.
Erm, what else was I going to do this week...?Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Yay! Excellent that your accomplishments this week are such that you need to refer back to your list to find more
EDIT - okay, I'll promise to get my new laptop up and running this week! I *did* work on reinstalling my scanner last night, for two hours - a piece of the programme was deleted when I deleted something else. I love my scanner, it can create pdf documents too, and is *so* helpful in decluttering ... so it was really important for work and home to get it running properly again. Truly! But the rest of this week, the laptop .... I'll scribble on my diary, promise.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Ahh here's the list
- finish chapter of OU book - yep
- find sheet music - located, just need to go and get it
- start doing some BBC Spanish - not yet, will do a bit at lunchtime if I can

- give blood - oops, need to check times
- register with GP - will try to do that tomorrow
- book massage which I've got a voucher for - waiting for phone call
- get a bit more exercise - errrm
- listen to guided meditation at least twice - just confirmed working from home tomorrow morning so will try to fit this in at 'break time'Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -

That's funny, I was thinking this morning about getting a scanner - partly for working from home and partly for scanning old Uni work and stuff.
If you get your new laptop working we can both write on each other's diaries with our new shiny laptopsDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Right, I got some music from the library (not quite as large a selection at that site as the website would lead you to believe but OK for starters..)
Does running up the stairs to the third floor of the library count as extra exercise...?
Me and Mr S have embarked on planning a weekend in London - want to see David Tennant in Much Ado About Nothing and just wander about really, ooh and have a good meal somewhere (keep reading about nice restaurants and they're nearly always in London!)Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Squizz - If you're after a scanner I might be able to help - we're just getting a new all in one printer/scanner wireless doo-dahh to replace our exsisting one ( our exsisting one being an all in one wireless printer/scanner/copier too).....our exsisting ones ink is really pricey for the amount we go through with both DD's coursework....the old one is yours if you want to cover the postage.
Sounds very frililous to just be buying a new one but the inks are around £40 and we go through at least a set a month - sometimes more with DD1's art/photography......the new ones inks are only £11 :T Anyway - shout if you'd like it or I'll shove it on freecycle."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W.
