I'm at the end of my tether with talk talk. Been promised a call back from billings twice ("in 7-10 days") and finally been promised a credit note ("in 10-14 days"). Still no credit note, and no response to the complaint letter I sent on 24 Oct, which I also copied by e-mail to the watchdog/talk talk email address.
What do I do now? They don't call me back, and ignore letters and e-mails ......
This company is a disgrace - it's been a complete nightmare trying to close down my deceased fathers account (they left the phone line active for 5 weeks after I'd handed the keys back to the landlord)

I've had lots of trouble with TalkTalk and finally left them, but if you write again send it vis a registered letter, they can't say they haven't received it then plus you have some sort of proof, also print out your email you sent along with the date etc also more proof.0

I am the official company representative of Talk Talk. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE"0 -

I can't post on the talk talk forum as his account is closed. Did get a reply to my complaint letter - and emailed the extra info requested , only to be told I need to complain to tiscali?! I thought they didn't exist anymore!!! All my dads paperwork has talk talk all over it0

Hi duggo1,
There are details on the TalkTalk website in the code of practice which gives various information on the complaints process for ex-tiscali customers.
@ DVardysShadow, you would need to send any court papers to the TalkTalk legal team at the following address:
TalkTalk Group Legal
PO Box 360
Southampton
SO30 2LY

Why did you not ask for his info direct to you so that you could sort out the matter personally and quickly ?

Letters not answered , emails not answered, technical staff in india who can only do basic 'remote' fault finding, multiple calls over many weeks. I have now a promise from a TalkTalk mployee to try and refund loss of interenet connection and the cost of (futile) calls to teh technical 'help' line........we will have to wait and see whether i actually do get a refund but I don't feel optimistioc and foresee more calls in future.......0 -
A few years ago I worked in the second line tech support for a major competitor of Talk Talk's.A lot of these call centers are outsourced to other companies & do not have the facility to send/recieve E-Mails nor do they call out to customers. (My department was an exception as we had to call the customers to arrange engineer visits/follow up on troubleshooting ect.
In fact,a lot of the PC's are locked down in such a way as to make it impossible for the agent to take any notes on anything except official systems. (To stop people taking down customer details)
If this is the case with Talk Talk, don't hold your breath waiting on a call back!0 -

My thoughts exactly. On other parts of these forums the company reps offer to personally investigate.
And why promise a call back or a credit note if you aren't going to do it.0
