Haven't bothered with the fireworks, it's doing that drizzly yackky stuff and I refuse to stand in that for 3 hours....I got soaked earlier on my walk so really don't need to climb out of my jimjams and go back out in the cold.....DD2 was easily placated with fish and chips.

DD1 has gone to a friends sleep over which is probably a really good thing as she's managed to really pee me off....I'm sure I wasn't this much hard work when I was 15.

Did just over 4 miles this morning and went via the post office to collect a parcel.....lots of lovely felt, so I can now crack on with more Christmas decorations.

Snaggs - You're far from fat!!!! Glad to hear you're loved up though...what are the plans moving forward or are you just playing it by ear?

Mmm just had a very nice policeman knocking on the door asking about some woman running around the street. I hadn't seen anyone so couldn't help them.

My daughter works for a charity that helps older people and a lady in her 80's phoned up to see if they knew anyone who could help her visit her husband in hospital. She uses a wheelchair which she can't propel herself, her daughter is disabled so can't help and although she can get a taxi to the hospital, she then can't get in to see her husband.

Apparently he nearly died on Tuesday and she hasn't been able to visit. My daughter phoned all sort of organisations but no one could help so we are going to take her ourselves tomorrow. It is so sad that there is no other way, but I am proud of my daughter for stepping up to the mark (although it will be me that does the driving and pushing her in her wheelchair, but I am happy to help)

We haven't any plans as yet Pooky. We kind of have hopes about things, and would like to be together permanently one day but who knows when, or even if, that will happen.

He's lovely but I do have a habit of messing relationships up. :o I have tried to tell him this, but he just replies "But I won't let you mess it up". :)

What's DD1 done? I dread mine being teenagers!

    Well done on the walking!

how kind you are temah, have to admit i would do the same, i help an elderly neighbour when she has hospital appointments she could get ambulance but you have to wait for hours before you can return home. Well we've had our fireworks lasted all of 15 minutes but the kids loved them.

Awww Tenmah that's sad that she's no one else to take her in to visit....but well done you for offering!

Snaggs - DD1 is just being a selfish little cow-bag......I know she'll grow out of it but I'm finding this stage very, very hard.
