Morning All

Glad we had some new people chatting yesterday, hopefully they will come back!

Well, Friday seems to have arrived quite quickly this week, which is good.

Anyone going to a firework display tonight? I used to be able to watch our castle park display from my flat window, but since we moved to this house we can hear them but can't see them :(

We can't go because my daughter can't stand up without being in severe pain but we are getting a wheelchair for her next week :j

Have a good day all......

If you have a red cross branch near you you may be able to hire a wheelchair if you want to to the firework display.

I have 3 dogs so we will spend tonight keeping them company. One especially ends up shaking and crying. The other two ignore them except for the very big bangs. Mind it does sound like downtown Beirut at its worst.

    Morning tenmah and gemini...

I won't be going to any firework displays - kids are all out doing their own thing. DD2 is going up to London and DS is going to a local display with the youth group.

It's awful for the animals tonight...I hope your dogs aren't too traumatised gemini.

    Good morning

I'm not sure what we are doing yet, there's usually a firework display at the castle but not sure if it is tonight or tomorrow.

Well yesterday I sorted a pile of beads out and put in storage containers and labelled them :), Still need to sort out a box in the corner aint got a clue what's in there :) plus I have hopefully beads coming today

I won a massive lot of beads from someone closing their beaded watch business, 150+ packs of beads wires, elastics and a new jewellery pliers kit.

not sure whether it will show you the listing cause it's finished,

Eta: I managed to bribe Nathan into taking the tablets last night and no wet bed :):j, he was so happy this morning, he will take them again tonight, we will see if it was just a coincidence this morning or whether the tablets did work, will keep you posted on that one :)

Great news Claire (on both counts).

Wonder why he doesn't want to take them if they work and make him feel better? Children are odd sometimes aren't they.

WOW.....just had a look at what you've won. You'll have enough there to keep you out of mischief for a few weeks won't you ;)

    Morning all

Think I'm taking DD2 to some local fireworks tonight but the local radio station says they're tonight, the BBC local website says tomorrow....helpful!!

Off out for a walk in a bit, hoping to do 4 miles today which will take this weeks total up to 15 miles....free exercise, very MSE.

I haven't got a clue Suzy, He hates taking any medication at all, hates drs too.

I'm just glad he was dry this morning, I think if he had wet after taking the tablets there would be no way that he would take more. I'm hoping the tablets worked and it wasn't just a fluke, mind you he never went to the loo when he woke up this morning either. So perhaps it was the tablets(they are designed to dehydrate the body to stop bedwetting)

Fingers crossed for you Claire. It must be awful for both of you for different reasons.

Pooky...do some miles for me please?? I really need to do some exercise but.... me no likey unless it's a gym and they are so expensive. I like using the equipment and swimming and the classes. Went to have a look round a gym yesterday, but they're asking £40 a month (and no pool). Forget it.

Hope you manage to discover which day the fireworks are actually being set off...
