These are now every 2 weeks and I assume that ebay have something against business sellers if business sellers are being forced to pay fees merely to support private sellers.

    Same here :)

I'm in the middle of packing up to move in 3 weeks, so no idea where everything is - old house or new house

There is definitely something going on here. Be careful if you do use the free listing days for listing many items as then Ebay decide you're a business and force an upgrade. Then of couse you don't qualify for all these freebies. I hate the way they encourage you to have a 'clearout' & get extra cash - then they penalise you for it when you do.

I couldnt agree more! I have two accounts - one business and one private and i was told to make my private one a business one (i had a huge clearout and listed approx 100 items on a free list weekend) which really annoyed me and i argued this with ebay and they didnt want to know.

Still,i better get sorting out as i could use some extra pennies this weekend without feeling obliged to start everything at 99p...:o

    Wonderful :(

Just what us business sellers need in the run down to Christmas
You're only young once, but you can be immature forever :D
  • its getting beyond a joke, don't ebay ralise it makes it harder for business sellers to sell their items and for buyers having to wade through the same pages of overpriced tat that didn't sell the last free listing day?

Interesting the post about ebay switching people's account to business if they feel they are taking advantage of 99p listing

i think there my be some sort of massive fee hike soon
