AQA is recruting in the UK

It seems to be a bit of a lottery. I've missed 3 of the last 4 UK recruitments because I've applied too soon after they changed the recruitmant page & the other 1 I missed becauseI didn't want to fall into the same trap & left it too long.

Emailed as well and got the same automated reply.

So will wait and see, and if not then i'll keep trying.

This would really suit me as i've got a degree but need to work from home and in my own time as i've got MS.

I emailed them earlier today but I've not heard anything yet *awaits an automated response*

It doesn't say UK on there now either, just... Researchers in Ireland, Australia or New Zealand.

I hope this will help someone. When I applied to AQA earlier this month the website said that they were recruiting in the UK and I quoted the relevant reference number, but their auto-reply said that they weren't recruiting in the UK (like some of you have said). I sent another email to them telling them that their website and auto-replies seemed to be contradicting each other and would they still consider me? Anyway, they did and I have since gone through the application, tests and probationary period and as of today I am now a fully-fledged researcher for AQA. :j

So I suggest that any of you who got the auto-reply which contradicted the website just email them and asks to be considered. It worked for me!

I applied earlier today (2pm ish) when their website said they wanted UK researchers. I've heard nothing back from them. Do they normally respond quickly (same day) or should I email again??

Hi Tiff. I used the jobs@issuebits one, the same address I sent the original application to. I'd give it a go if anyone applied when they said they wanted UK researchers but got an auto-reply saying different.

Did anyone hear back from AQA?

I've just about given up waiting.... they might be V busy but I'd expect a reply to the e-mails I've sent rather than nothing, esp. seeing as I did e-mail while they were still advertising for UK researchers!
