I sent off my application and test on thursday and I heard back today - I'M IN!!!! :j :j :T :j :T :j
I am very happy, really need the extra money, am very excited to start. I have sent off the contract today.
For anyone who missed out, check the website everyday, I found this thread when they stopped hiring, I check the aqa site every day and 4 days later they were hiring again.
Good luck, the test is hard but do-able. The biggest problem for me was keeping within the word count, I had to go back and change my answers to fit in, that was the hardest bit.

Congratulations Kat, it feels great doesn't it?
I know what you mean about the word count too, I also found that the hardest bit. Here's looking forward to our induction then earning some extra money. :j
Good luck to anyone still waiting to hear.

I did my inductions of 30 questions, my SR checked them and was happy so I get to be a fully-fledged researcher now, yipee, I am official now! :j
I have a question to those of you who have been doing this a bit longer... Do you know when the pay cut-off is to get paid in december? It says in the info that if you earn more than £20 you will get paid at the beginning of the month, but it doesn't say when the cut-off is. I really want some money for december but have only done a couple of hours so far, so just need to know how long I have before the cut-off.
Thanks

Hi Kat - i've only been doing AQA 3 weeks now, so December will be my first pay -but my SR said that money is added from 1-30th of the month and then paid before the 10th of the month after. So theoretically, everything you do now in Nov will be in your bank by Dec 10th. Drop your SR a line to double double check though. Good luck x0 -

Hi Kat,
I have my induction on Thursday morning (should have been today but my SR had to cancel) and I can then start on my first 30 questions. Would you mind telling me how long it took you to complete the first 30? And roughly what times of the day you did them? I know that I'll find out for myself soon enough but I'm just curious to know. I can't wait to get started! :j0
