it was only this year that i realsied i wasnt recieeving single persons council tax discount. i was awarded a wholes years discount....they didnt pay it to me cash though....just took it off the bill for the following year.

i try and use one cleaning product all round instead of using separates i.e. bathroom, kitchen, floor etc.....is all a big con...and i use a quarter of suggested washing powder quantities....clothes come out superb!

as for another job...have you thought about online trading, or online surveys? look at what your talents and skills are, see what you can expand upon.... i've just started a pottery class, i'm enjoying it loads and when i get good at it i can sell the items...the class only costs me a fiver a week. i have to pay for the end products but is soo cheap..just pennies. im like you though, i get too tired to work in the evenings but im starting someting over the weekends. my kids are teenagers and i spend most of the weekend moping about-- might as well earn some cash!

This is a great thread well worth reading but if you want some help why not start your own thread as new posts tend to get lost in an older thread.
