yes try to get out of your mobile contract asap. read martin's tips on this, as some will allow to switch before your contract expires.
we had contract phones, but ditched them as soon as we were able.
you also don't need specialist cleaners for each room in the house. a multi surface cleaner and loo cleaner should do. i have glass cleaner too, but it lasts about 2 years, cos the children smear them immediately.

all your mates are probably living on credit - i know people who spend loads, but are caught in a vicious cycle of borrowing and repayment.

    keep your chin up.
I ave a dodgy H, so sometimes I will sound dead common, on occasion dead stupid and rarely, pig ignorant. Sometimes I may be these things, but I will always blame it on my dodgy H.

Sorry, I'm a bit of a grumble weed today, no offence intended ... well it might be, but I'll be sorry.

i pay £260 per month and this includes...all my bills, wireless 2gb internet and Sky TV, you have to look for the good deals, i found my room of the internet and i know its a risk renting of someone u don't know but its been worth it and thats nearly half of what ur paying for rent, biulls, phone line etc etc. I also live near a rich place for houses as well.

i'm not sure of the internet name but its worth a look

    Cheers

People always look to see what the Jones are getting upto. I used to be an Auditor and I find that in most cases people are spending far more than they are earning the sums just don't add up. You have to have a clear and honest budget, listing everything it is to easy to miss out beer money, birthday and christmas treats, clothes it all adds up. At least if you have a realistic buget you can find ways of cutting costs. Do you really need a mobile phone, do you need to go out every night or weekend, designer clothes are often rubbish you just pay for the label. There are all sorts of ways you can cut costs. If you are a social animal get a part time job in a bar, you may not earn a lot but you get out and socialise without spending a penny.
There is always somebody worst off than yourself. I had a shock about 18 Months ago when my partner admited to hiding debt from me it totaled up to a massive £226,000 its been hard but I have dealt with it.

sadly with most mobile telehone contracts you are stuck in for the full 12 months, sadly i got called up by 3 one week after i started my orange contract and told me they could knock off ten pounds a month off my bill! thats 120 pounds a year! so i got on the phone to orange who said "yes you can finish the contract but you have to pay 12 months line connection upfront" so really its a waste of money. do like martin said- leave your phone at home when you go to work or use works telephone to call people. i wish you luck
