Floss I hope they get your heating sorted and fingers crossed for your job x

    Happy birthday House elf _party_

JackieO Great news about DD's job :T

Went shopping this morning and got 3 pieces of lovely rump steak whoopsied in Aldi for £1.20 a piece. :D
DH has gone back to work with a big grin on his face knowing that dinner is steak, chips and mushrooms tonight.:D Not really an OS meal I could probably make a couple of casseroles out of it but it is a big treat for us, so no excuses I intend to enjoy it with a nice cold glass of wine :).
n.b. He has just rung in a panic to tell me he will be an hour late tonight and could I please hold dinner till then (He likes his meat more or less walking off the plate _pale_ whilst I like mine well cooked)

The wind is positively howling out there, I hope the rain keeps off because he hasn't got the roof on the new shed yet. It isn't a prefab one, he has built it from scratch it is a lot sturdier and has cost a lot less than buying one from the shop especially because it is 14' x 12' total cost so far is £400.

Next job after that is to put a new DPC and insulate the utility room but that will have to wait until after Christmas. I can't do with mess over the hols.

Well I am off to grab a coffee and finish another pair of gauntlets ( This time for DD's friend for a Christmas pressie)

Keep safe and warm all x

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: We haven't got a garage so it needs to be big to get my scooter in, plus the bikes and all DH's carp from inside the house - How's the ear by the way?

Nicola - so sorry to hear of your bad news - Red ruby - love to you and your family. xxxx Hugs to those in need xxxxx

Evening all! Since I started work I am just running to keep up with myself!! Hectic. Luckily we have a freezer full of meals and whilst I was in work this morning the housework fairy came and cleaned my house - FANTASTIC. I managed to sell loads of things on ebay / amazon which means I can pay for the fairy for a few more weeks! Not only can I see my dining room table, I'm sitting at it! Which is definate progress. We're off to MILs tomorrow to move her bed downstairs so that she can come out of the hospice. I've hired a van so that we can move some furniture back to our house - ONLY the things she has said that we can have. So the dining room needs to have space for a cabinet in it at the weekend!!

All my Christmas presents are wrapped and just waiting for me to arrange times to visit friends and family to drop them off - Feel a bit like Santa!! Dinner tonight is Macaroni Cheese - so will start on that shortly as I'm getting it out of a packet I've just found! Still have some more things I can sell on ebay - so will be off to maximise my profits!!!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

As long as there is not a frost forecast you can still put them in, they might be a bit late blooming but you will get away with it.
