Did you give all your details, date of birth, time at address etc? I can't seem to find a way of checking out without this info?
I'm not sure I trust this not to be charged full price, I think they are part of littlewoods and they have been known to take codes back in the past, if its taking all this personal info there's nothing stopping them opening the owed amount on credit and then taking legal action to recover it? What does anyone else think?
t&c's sayIf you use a cash discount promotion, such as £10 off, and you pay for your order with a credit or debit card, then we will process your payment in two stages. First we will charge your card with the full price of the order then we will refund your card with the value of the discount.
Please note that the payment and refund may not occur simultaneously but the refund will be made no later than when your order is despatched. Please be assured that if you were selected to receive the offer and your order meets the applicable terms and conditions, the refund will be applied to ensure that you receive the correct discounted price overall.
I haven't given them any money or card details as of yet, as I was suspicious and have heard about Littlewoods too. They just send an invoice out and you pay when you get that, I think it's once a month. my nanna ordered a bike for my cousin and that is how she paid, just the full amount in one go when she got the invoice and she used the 25 pounds offSealed Pot challenge aiming for £400 by Christmas

Great glitch but a little concerned that this code is for new customers who sign up to a credit account with Very. If so, and if everyone makes use of it now, do you think they will charge later when glitch is discovered?0

Well Ive got 2 statements and 2 order confirmations and on the site it is saying I can make the payment of £3.95. On both of the order confirmations it clearly states that the amount payable is £3.95 and also the balance owed on the account is £3.95. I have received my items with a letter with the price on.
So therefore haven't they sold me the items at £3.95? I think I am going to pay for them now online using the payment optionSealed Pot challenge aiming for £400 by Christmas

You don't need to have given them any card details or money, you have signed up for a credit agreement, this means regardless of whether they deduct £50 off your first statement eventually when they do notice (and well known on mse, they do) you will then get a bill for it. Just be prepared that at some point in the future be it in a week or 6 months you might have to pay £25 for the duplicate use of code. I'm out on this one if it was debit card payment I'd have had a go but not on credit.0 -
