Ive been asked to leave home

I've been in this position before.
You need to get him to write you a letter saying he is asking you to leave. Then take it down to your local housing office and declare yourself homeless. They have a duty of care to you, especially if you have a child.
They will house you in temporary accommodation like a homeless hostel. They aren't great places, but it's a roof over your head. They will then look at your situation and see if you meet the criteria for council housing
Good luck:j £2 coins = £2.00 :j0 -
1. In whose name is the tenancy/mortgage of the house?
2. Is your partner the father of your child?
3. Does your child go to school in the area?
4. Does your partner work?
These anwswers will help us give you the help/advice you need.
Hi all, thank you for your replies.
I can answer YES to all of the questions above. I am not named on the mortgage or any bills except for the council tax and the tv liscence which i pay every month. The electric is on a pre paid key meter which isnt in my name but i am the one who usually tops it up.
I am at work today but i filled in an housing application online so hopefully i will know soon if they can help me or not.
To answer MWA's question,he can be unreasonable but two years ago, his sister in law made up a spitful lie in saying i said something about her - which i didnt - and he belived her over me which threw me as he always made it clear that he didnt like her at all. I ended up in hospital the next day as i fell seriously ill and things were never the same again between us.
Thanks again.

Hi
Irrespective of that, once you start divorce proceeding, the house will be considered an asset of the mariage and you should get your share of any equity.
You need to go and see a lawyer urgently or contact Shelter as your situation is difficult.
The good news is that because your name is not on the deeds, you can get paid LHA or HB.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
Your local Womens Aid is also a good place to go for advice.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.
