Confused after letter from Welcome Finance

I recieved the letter from WF with regards to previous PPI Policies. Im sceptical of the "If you would like me to re-consider your complaint, taking into account the other PPI Policies......" section of the letter. Can a previous decision be overturned as the money has already been spent paying off my car loan (it was very tempting to book a trip to NY but I resisted at the bequest of my partner lol)

Aah.... i never thought of it like that :eek:

I doubt it though - i think some folk on here got extra back because they did not calculate the original refunds correctly.

Did you have any other loans with Welcome that you didn`t pursue at the time?

We did - as we didn`t have account numbers so didn`t claim these - so i think that is what they are referring to in our case.

If you didn`t - then hopefully they`ll be sending you a bit extra in the New Year :beer:

I sent them an email today to clarify the letter they sent but am yet to hear anything back, will post their reply once I receive it! I did make a claim two years ago which was unsucessful and then won it this year so maybe it could be about that.........who knows! Would really appreciate some info from anyone that returned the letter signed?

I`m waiting to hear back from them - i sent the signed letter back last Friday - so if i hear before you do i`ll let you know - and t`other way round....?

I expect they have that many to deal with, ring them in a few days and ask for an update, they should let you know.:)

Nope- we are still waiting too - gonna give them 28 days then ring and ask what`s going on.

Hi all I sent my letter of on the 10/11 recorded, have rang them and been told it has been sent to the calculations department for investigating, no news since!!
