Nokia 6130i and Mercedes Benz blue tooth.
I have just taken delivery of my new van with a MB Bluetooth device. My trusty old Nokia 6130i has bluetooth and the 2 devices will pair with the password number. They communicate then immediately they drop each other!
The sales manager (when handing over the van) tried for ages but couldn't get the two to work. His phone - a blackberry and my daughter's modern phone work well. The MB website didn't list the phone .... too old!
I have tried to see if there are any software updates on the Nokia site - there are none for this old phone. I am PAYG so I can't ask O2 for an upgrade! particularly as I only spend £10.00 a quarter because most of my calls (up to 9999 minutes per month) are on my "free number". I text 3-4 times a year!
The Nokia will happily link to my Tomtom 910 but I can't use the steering wheel buttons to control phone through the Tomtom!
Any suggestions?
