Thanks Zoox - don't be fooled by the 'butter wouldn't melt' look!!!

Bully is the worst, he thinks the sofa is his throne!!

Mia came from a home where she was kept in a yard and seems happy just to lay on carpet but loves the sofa too!

Let me know if you find a solution to not letting them up! We try saying no to Bully but he will keep nudging you, and if you have a laptop on your knee he will keep nudging it so it's impossible to use!!! :)

I found the perfect way to keep the dogs off my sofa...... I got them one of their own :) They sleep on their sofa now and don't try to get on ours.
Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree! :D

we have a sofa in storage and i'd love to give them the small one as their own but there's no where to put it! I still think they would want to be on our sofa even if they had their own!!

    I don't :D Mine are allowed on.

However my biggest two have crates for when I leave and at night. They're both still in that puppy/teenager stage and nothing is safe

  • My collie keeps jumping up on our new sofa too, she never did it on the old one and was not allowed to. What I do is stand the sofa cushions up so she can't get on it. Don't know if that will work for you or if you can do that with your sofa.
Wish it would - but I somehow doubt I will find anything that will keep him off, he just wont take no for an answer! Last night I took my little boys chairs for his little table and put them upside down on the sofas, but what didIfind when I came downstairs this morning...? Yes that's right - he'd pushed them out of the way & curled up between them! I reckon the only way to keep him off would be to turn the sofas upside down, but that seems a bit of a mission every morning before going to work lol!
I wouldn't mind if it wasn't for the way he scratches them when he makes himself a bed...
Here he is once he'd jumped down, trying to look all innocent! Hope I managed to add the photo! 1guiltydog.jpg
I don't think I can hang on til Friday...

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.
  • Love all the pics:)

I don't mind our dogs, Buddy and Rosie, getting up on the sofa but their grumpy old daddy won't let them, although they will still jump up at every opportunity they can.

Rosie especially, is a very good 'jumper' and loves to get up onto the window sill to watch the world go by. The other day, I even found muddy paw prints all over the glass dining table.:rotfl:
