Can i have NTL broadband without a telephone line?

Hi everyone!
just wondering if I could still have NTL broadband if I got rid of my NTL telephone line? as I don't really use it as most people call my mobile so it's just an added expense which I don't really need

Yep, if you go on AOL's Broadband Gold connection that's cable & when I had it it was £24.99 a month, not sure of the price now, but definitely no phoneline needed.0

yes you can, we moved house and they fitted the ntl broadband without taking the phoneline from them.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. hello people can anyone get ntl BB without a phone line? if the wires (old) is there and i don't have a phone connected and in a business address? i have Bt phone line with redcare & can't use that for BB and need BB without GBP£48.35 for 3 months phone line0

Because NTL is cable broadband and isn't dependant on a phone line.
The bb comes into your house via a cable 0
