For those in Manchester area covered by Woodford weather station, (Im in M38), we have had our first trigger.
The Met Office have notified the Department for Work and Pensions that 1 period of very cold weather has occurred in the M38 postcode area between 1 November 2010 and 29 November 2010, triggering a Cold Weather Payment.
If you have qualified for Cold Weather Payments since 1 November 2010 and live in this postcode area, you are due to receive 1 Cold Weather Payment.0 -
Had a trigger for North Devon. Brill considering I'm going through a big gas bottle at £50 a shot every 10 days!
I thought these payments were triggered by ACTUAL temperature readings and not estimated as put by one PP?0 -

The vast majority of the country has had a trigger with a report that 97% of all eligible households live in an area where a CWP is being made.

It looks like its possibly parts of Devon and Cornwall that have missed out.0 -
