I emailed the met about it and they said they didn't deal with individual equires about CWP but the same day the trigger for the Gravesend one was done.
I looked at its data and most of it was N/A so can only assume it wasn't working correctly.
On a plus note BR5-8, CM0, DA1-18, ME1-5, ME7-8, RM1-3, RM5-20, SS0-17 should all now have a CWP on the way!well today was a complete waste of make up :eek:0 -
The Met Office have notified the Department for Work and Pensions that 1 period of very cold weather has occurred in the PO4 postcode area between 1 November 2011 and 9 February 2012, triggering a Cold Weather Payment.
If you have qualified for Cold Weather Payments since 1 November and live in this postcode area, you are due to receive 1 Cold Weather Payment.
Please bear in mind that you should not expect payments immediately. You should receive a payment to your account within 14 working days.Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind. They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.0 -
I've noticed on my met office weather app it says temp is 1º a lot, but outside its way lower than that around -5º and more so.
I think i come under gravesend.
I do check several times in the day and night, just seems a bit odd.
would they mess with readings given so less payouts, don't hate me just saying.0 -
I havent read all 31 pages of this thread but from what I understand the cwp for those on ESA is wholly disjointed and wrong, if you are on contributary esa you are someone who has worked hard paid your taxes and dont get help for cold weather payments. Where if you are a person who has been on income based esa which means your taxes ni payments what ever you want to call them are not high enough.... you get cwp and yet it seems that income based esa wrag or support for single person is the same amount of money as contribution based esa support or wrag.
So a chap I know who has always claimed benefits (sick related incomme support now transfered to wrag esa and failed appeal twice for support group) is in his 50's and has never contributed gets cwp where as another person who has paid taxes has had to stop work through disabililties gets lower care and higher mobility dla has been put through hoops to get into the support group but is on contribution based will not get cwp
perhaps its just me but it doenst seem right.....0 -
