laptop slow start up/freezing whilst in use

Evening all

DS2 is having problems with his Dell Inspiron laptop.

It is taking ages to load and then freezing in use (internet).

I have booted it in safe mode
I've run CCleaner
Ran the latest version of malwarebytes - short scan - no malicious items deteched or infections found.

What next guys? HitmanPro, Hijack this, full malwarebytes?

    Open malwarebytes, goto LOGS and post the WHOLE of the last log

    Update and run a FULL scan

    Post a hijack this log

    Problem with full scan

    PC has frozen after 5 minutes and 10 seconds, this is in safe mode.

    oh it heard me - it has started again with the time at 13 minutes and 50 seconds - odd

    I have run the hijack this but it warns that it does not have access to 'write' and is not allowing me to copy the log - any ideas please

    12 to 18 months old? Heatsink and Fan blocked up with fluff. Can be verified by shining a torch into the inlet for the fan and looking into the exhaust vent for the heatsink and seeing how much light you can see.

    Whilst pressing the SHIFT key, RIGHT CLICK and on the hijack icon and select RUN AS (Make sure its run in NORMAL mode)
