laptop slow start up/freezing whilst in use

Evening all DS2 is having problems with his Dell Inspiron laptop. It is taking ages to load and then freezing in use (internet). I have booted it in safe mode I've run CCleaner Ran the latest version of malwarebytes - short scan - no malicious items deteched or infections found. What next guys? HitmanPro, Hijack this, full…

So far so good. Lap top loaded well and stood up to about 2 hours constant use by DS2 without incident so definitely fingers crossed.

I'll report back if anything else happens. For now thanks for all your help especially RiK
