Nope, I initially was referring to LR which used to have a three month lag and now seems to be able to issue with only a 1 month lag.

You really, really, really are wasting your time. After you have discredited his argument (not hard to do - he is recognised on most sites as the most deluded loser around) he will come back with something like "Well I think we all know who won that argument" and loads of smiley faces. It is so funny, 6 months to show the actual months figures.
I guess the seasonal adjustment is made to show that the busiest months are the winter months and the slowest months are the spring / autumn months.

Certainly so far it would be hard to say that financially it was a wise move given prices are nominally higher than they were 5 years ago and that there is also 5 years rent to consider.
There's nothing wrong with waiting until your circumstances are better.
There's nothing wrong with choosing to rent and not to buy if that's your choice.
Everyone has individual needs and outlooks.
What cannot be done is claim moral victory over a financial decision that so far has proven not to be correct.:wall:
