Does anyone know if any of the photo calendars have 5 or so columns for with the days running down top to bottom?

The usual style is one square for each day starting top left and working down to bottom right but in our house we use a calendar with a column for each family member.

I don't think I've explained that very well, but someone may know what I mean, if they have that sort of calender.

Anybody printing their own calendars and want the bound 'properly', all Staples stores can do this for you - they're usually about £2 or less.

They also design and print the whole thing for you, for about £8 or £9.

I've been printing my own for a few years now - the only thing that lets them down is the binding. How do staples do them? For example, the ones I usually do are A4, portrait shaped, a month to a page, usually 14 sheets in total - can they bind along the top using the "proper" calendar type binding?

I did get a price from a local print shop, but they were about £5 ish each just to bind - it mounts up when you're doing half a dozen or so.
  • Hi My neice has a company doing just this her site is sweetbabyface.co.uk

I just got some back from Vistaprint and they are brilliant.

Have attached a link as they are on offer at the moment.

I got a do it yourself kit in Lidl last week for £1.99 - marked down as they hadn't been selling well. Might be worth checking.
    Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.

For info, the Sweetbabyface calendars are from £19.00:

    Bit expensive for me.

The Vistaprint ones look good, but they only do desktop ones, I'm needing A4 hangy-up ones?! I like to have the space to put stuff on - birthdays, etc.

What was in the kit? I've looked for these before, without much success.

https://www.jessops.com click on picture house on the top right hand side. This will take you to the anapfish website. I've done these for xmas pressies. If you have more than one the same the extra's are 25% off! They are £15 each, but extras are only £11.25!
  • We have been getting photo calendars for several years now and we use a company called Hampton Print.
They are particularly good if you need to order a few as we usually do as they get cheaper. I did do the comparisons last year with Snapfish, Photobox etc and these still worked out cheaper if you were wanting to order more then 5.

After receiving an email (amongst the many many I receive from them!) from Vista Print offering £1 desk calendars, where you upload your photos, can put captions underneath and personalise the dates - I thought I would order a couple - I received them yesterday and they are excellent.

They do charge OTT on delivery - I ordered the slow delivery, however still got them within a week.

    Well worth it!

Just to add that they also charge for uploading your own images (plus whilst you are on their site watch out for their aggressive sales techneques). Also to bear in mind is the print quality from Vista isn't great, it's quite a course cmyk process method. If you want good quality then look to the digital photo companies that other members have mentioned.
    Hope this is useful.
