  • I use The Rather Nice company for my calenders, the service etc is really good

    Waddle you do eh?
  • Nicolarichard - remembered I had an account with Snapfish/Truprint (never used):o - just checked and £14.99 for a basic b&w/sepia calander 8.5" x 11".
There are a few different styles and you can personalise them. A Hardback book of the same size costs from £19.99 (Smaller paperback from £12.99 and 3 x 'pocket books' from £7.99).
They look nice on the website - but a bit expensive compared to other sites!!!
Let me know if you find anything nice (and cheap!!) - what a fab idea!!!:T :T

  • thanks for that
  • I did this last year through bonus prints for the in laws and they were over the moon. This year, I went for a more personal touch and ordered a painting of the kids. Picture is fantastic, but not sure whether to give it as a present now or keep it.

Check out https://www.bringit2life.co.uk. I emailed them and asked for a first order discount and they gave me 10%! Takes a few weeks though.
  • I've been using Wanadoo photos for a while, now Orange (http://photos.orange.co.uk/). I store and share all my digital photos on here, and everytime I order some new prints I get an extra 50MB of space allocated to me. I'm now on 1150MB, and only using about a third of it!

They also do calendars, photo books etc. I've not ordered them before but was going to get an A3 single page calendar which is about £3 for a Xmas present this year.

The quality of all the prints I've had so far have been excellent, and the delivery is REALLY quick.

After receiving an email (amongst the many many I receive from them!) from Vista Print offering £1 desk calendars, where you upload your photos, can put captions underneath and personalise the dates - I thought I would order a couple - I received them yesterday and they are excellent.

They do charge OTT on delivery - I ordered the slow delivery, however still got them within a week.

    Well worth it!

Glad your calendars are ok but do a search on the forums for vistaprint, then make sure you check your bank account. They have been signing people up for membership to a discount club for £10 ish per month - so be careful!!

I've used them quite a few times and everything has always been fine and charged correctly - thanks for the warning though!

    I ordered mine from bonusprint.

They are excellent quality and very good service.
  • anyone used Create a Gift before?? They do an A6 Freestanding Desk Calendar for £6.99 with free delivery!! Seems a good offer compared to other sites (except Vistaprint which have had bad stuff written about them on this forum!!) Any help/info appreciated - thanks
I have used Vista Print on various occasions, for free gifts although you pay pp, but i have to say they are very good. Just received the free desk calendar that i have had done to put in with a christmas present. Somehow i did suscribe and got an email telling me they were going to take money from my card etc., so all i did was email them cancelling and all sorted. Worth a try, as they do have good offers. Just be careful you don't join the club by mistake.
