Hi Caroline, good luck with your mortgage journey. I've just started mine on here too.

I sell on Folksy too (although haven't restocked my shop for a couple of months), but I find the promoting and getting good light for the pictures is quite hard as I make jewellery.

    Will be reading with interest.
  • Hi Yukkibear

have you got a photo tent? I have this one and it's great for getting good lighting.

Good luck with your stockings. Where do you go for your courses?

  • I did this one in Leicester. It's the first course I'd been on but I think I'll look around for other courses to do as I quite enjoyed it. I did go with a friend so it wasn't so scary.

I have listed lots more things to my Misi/Folksy shops this afternoon and I have sold something to a friend via facebook, so that's all good.

Got to tidy up now before boys get home, and then I'm going to finish a hat and scarf for a customer.

  • A good day today.

I did lots of Christmas shopping this morning via TCB, I could have got everything from Amazon (no cashback but I had a voucher), but I went to Play and Whsmith too, so I got best prices/cashback and could use vouchers. I'll put the cash equivalent of the vouchers and the cashback towards OPing.

I did a few surveys on Lightspeed and Onepoll too and I got paid for an amigurumi elf I made so withdrew that from paypal.

I'm not paying attention to how much money I'm putting aside for OPing. I'm just putting in a pot and taking it to the bank when I'm in town and I will OP this at the beginning of each month.

Didn't manage a no spend as I had to post the elf and bought a big piece of brie in the shop/post office because it was reduced and I love brie. Only 65p!

Thanks for that. I do need one for winter pictures. Still sorting my beads at the mo lol
  • How pants! Lightspeed have thrown me out claiming I have two memberships. I was also one survey off another voucher so I'm a bit peeved.

My little pot is filling up slowly. I'm just pleased that I'm managing to buy lots of Christmas presents without using credit and I am putting aside a little bit.

My rota for December has arrived and I have lots of hours (not over Christmas!) I can see me being able to overpay lots once I've finished buying the presents. I have most of them, and I've bought most of DH birthday presents too, and that's not until the end of January.

    I'm never this organised! :j:j

Shame about lightspeed. Well done for being so organised though. I thought I was doing quite well until I created a spreadsheet this morning and realised how unorganised I am and how much money I should have saved for! Still we'll get there

How rubbish about lightspeed. You're more organised than me too, i am so unfocussed at the moment. Things aren't as busy/stressful at home as they usually are and i think i have relaxed a bit TOO much!
