OOh I was excited to hear how it went, that was a very quick first viewing having only been on for a day!

I'm on a mission now to spend as little as possible this month. I did my weekly shop today and managed to spend about two thirds of the amount I usually do, I decided to get it delivered by Mr T and I've still saved even with delivery charge.
I heard from yesterday's viewers and they loved the house but thought the third bedroom was too small for their needs, otherwise they would have snapped it up. I'm confident for future viewings though.
I'm off work for the next five days so I'm looking forward to doing the back garden and some serious decluttering. Taking tomorrow evening off to win some money with Pam at the bingo :rotfl:It would be great if we both 'graduated' from the board with some big wins!0 -
Thats a shame about the viewers, at least you have another one set up. I have been looking, being nosey at what sort of prices for 4 beds and some of them are really lovely for around £180-£200k. I can dream one day lol we definitely need to win the big one tomorrow!!MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Exciting stuff about the house being up for sale. I had to laugh at Iris's comments about the neighbours looking at your house online as i do that all the time as i am intrigued how they use the same space we have.
Enjoy your night out tomorrow girls. GL GL, and remember your pals here if you win big. I wish i lived in the same vicinity as someone from here. I had a great time when i met up with littlebit as we were so into the same things and with the same viewpoints. We are not as close in distance as you two though.0 -

The real reason I can't come tonight is that I'm packing :rotfl:
Yes, I really am posting at stupid o'clock :eek:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

I think Pam is actually stalking me, I bumped into her at the swimming pool yesterday
I was meant to have viewers yesterday but their child was ill so they couldn't make it, they are hoping to come later in the week. Another couple came yesterday, but I'm waiting on them. I don't think it was for them but hopefully I'm wrong.
I've decluttered the DVD collection over the past few days, some went on Ebay, some on Music Magpie. That's netted about £80 but most of the DVD's belonged to the children so I've let them have their money back. Mortgage/savings will get about £30 I think.
My envelope from envirofone this morning so I will post my old phones today. Hopefully they'll pay what they promised but anything is a bonus!
I am going to sort out my wardrobe later and list all of my old stuff on ebay. All the little bits add up I suppose.
Was hoping for NSD but OH promised Sam a takeaway tonight as it's his parents evening. It's his reward for doing well. Obviously we are assuming he'll do ok! I will push for the Chip Shop of KFC snack boxes so I can spend less than £10. Mean mummy!

hey I have been there for the last 3 years lol.
Are you going to have anything left to move in your house lol
I am the same with takeaways, I'd rather go chippy than pizza or kfc, much much cheaper and more for your money.MPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

Sam did really well at parents evening. His numeracy is way ahead, his literacy is above average and his handwriting is progressing. His teacher said "You obviously spend time doing a lot of things at home with him". Made be feel a bit guilty as I don't think we do anything! A story at bedtime is about it! Anyway, one KFC later I'm £20 down and I got nabbed for a book at the book fair so that was another £4.
I spent yesterday sorting my wardrobe and I was really ruthless. I'm great at decluttering normally but I have a block with clothes. I've sorted out 3 bin bags full and the Cash for Clothes people are coming at lunchtime. They pay 40p per kilo. Most of it was charity shop or really old stuff so not worth ebaying.
Monday's viewers thought my reception rooms were too small. I'm not entirely sure what people expect from a terraced house. They have the details before they come to visit. I really want to start looking but I don't want to find somewhere when I can't progress.0 -
I think we would be amazed by how little some children get at home. My eldest has got to write his name on a bit of laminated card at school. He is the only one who traces the dots, and then writes his whole name underneath himself, and they said how good it is to write one name at 3/4 in nursery. I want to push him more though. No use letting them coast and lose all interest. I can't see school pushing him along. It is me making him practice his full name.
Obviously i don't want to push him if he doesn't want to do it, but he loves reading and writing, and it would be so nice for him to learn it at the speed he wants to go at. I can't do it all at home with DS2.
I bet you do plenty like i do just by having books in the house and talking to your DS. Some are shoved in front of tellies/computer games for the whole day. Mine are allowed a little bit, but then they play or we read or do jigsaws.
I bet you are a proud mummy hearing he is doing well.0
