    Hello 3Dogs, good to hear your mother is out of hospital and settled in a new home. From what you say it does sound as if her remaining time on this Earth is going to be spent in reasonable comfort, and that is what we all hope for in our old age. Is the home oop North or roight in the fens?

    The home is in North Tyneside - all the family are there. I will stay up here until sure that Mam is Ok/settled or otherwise

    Well at least it's not too far from home - couple of hours by train from Peterborough? Mind you, you need to take out a mortgage for train fares nowadays!
