Thanks for the news 3dogs, at least your mam seems to be getting the care she requires, its a shame she is sleeping so much. At least the doc seems alot more caring so that you can feel better that she is being looked after properly.

lets hope she makes progress having the drip etc.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Tixy,fancy Susan putting the wrong date in,weve only been married 30 years!!!!! I know Susan really appreciates all the support she gets on here,it doesnt matter if you dont know what to say Beanie,the fact that you are thinking of her helps lots.

Thanks Beanie, Steve and Andy - at least Mam is in the best place now to get the right care - the staff are so bright and happy, nothing is too much trouble, and the doctor and nurses are so informative too - it is so different to the hospital where we had to search out the information as to what was happening and check up on the care she was given as we really did not trust them. And Mam seems so comfortable there - as I say, we need to see how she goes over the next few days, to check that this sleeping thing is nothing more serious, so hoping that she will be more her normal self tomorrow or the next day - actually, having said that, her two great-grand-daughters will be going to see her on Saturday so that will wake her up, no chance of sleeping when they are visiting!!! she loves to see them and they are missing her

I will probably go down with my neice tomorrow in her car so she finds out where it is and how to get there for future visits

Alan i like the bit about youve only been married 30 years and Susan still forgets the date of your bithday.. Susan may hit you with the fry pan when she returns home.. :rotfl:
