    i agree regarding a tough year, it really has been and with the current cutbacks i think that it will continue, sadly

    DH loves john smiths.

    but then he is a real ale man and loves going to Yorkshire for the Real Ales.

    I used to occasionally shop at Waitrose but only as mine has a fish counter and DH loves the green shell mussels. And sometimes you could pick up bargains. They are better now as they even do reduced stuff, that is great to buy, and they are more competitive with their prices on other stuff now.

    M&S can be good in the sales, and when they have their 1p sale, and when there is a glitch ;
