just remembered what I wanted to say!

3Dogs, do you enter comps? competitions, especially on FB? I am going to try and win stuff for DS' friends for next year, save on birthday and xmas pressies, and stuff for family, won DH's birthday present, he was over the moon and still trying to work out where I bought it from!

some of the stuff you win you maybe able to sell at carboots.

Oh 3Dogs, you given up on make £10 a day thread? That is where I originally met you :D

oh thanks for the tip about Saver$ and the 50p Pl*nty coupons :j

Not quite given up on it Aureol - more like having a break from it :o The last month I did was October, and that was only a small amount at the beginning. I seemed to stop doing eBay just before then - I just couldn't motivate myself at the time. Think that all my motivation was used up getting money together for that holiday on Royal Scotsman at end of July, and it just petred out after that

But I have my orders off Mr 3Dogs to start eBaying again in the New Year and I have to do it anyway so that I have some money in hand to rush up to Mam's as and when necessary if anything changes. So, come January I will be back on the Make £10 a Month thread with my target of £310 for the month and see what happens then. I used to count anything made from car boots in my total, but Mr 3Dogs is now doing that under DWP Permitted Work rules, so won't count any of that in future - unless he sells something big from the house, that we already have, that is. See you on that thread in January then Aureol - looking forward to getting going on it again really

When I am down or stressed, I withdraw into sleep - can stay up late but would stay in bed all day when I'm feeling depressed - it is my way of shutting everything out. I then find that I lack any motivation to do anything, be it eBaying, going out, dealing with people and problems, housework, etc - I just shut it out. But when I am motivated I get on and do things and enjoy them well that's a bit too far, I wouldn't say that as far as the housework goes, in fact that need loads of motivation - I am terrible!! Anyway, needed the money to get up and see Mam, get together the £90 fee for my DRO and then a further £90 for Mr 3Dogs in Spril, plus put money away for oil deliveries, MOT, van repairs, vets, etc, should give me the motivation I need. I do know that once I get going, it will be fine, it's just the getting going I have the problem with at the moment. Need a good kick up the backside really ................ any volunteers about? Hey, come on, form an orderly queue there :D

And with that, I must bid you all goodnight - I am off for a check on the bargains/voucher threads and then off to bed

    Night Night all 0002034E.gif

I used to do masses and masses of competitions, when you had to send postcards and stamps did not cost a fortune - and I won quite a bit then - X-Box with 2 games when they first came out, coach holiday worth £300, Antique Silver Spoon, tickets to events, etc

But don't concentrate on them as much now - don't get me wrong, I enter all the ones I see on emails and web-sites, but have never had much luck with them - mind you I did win £100 vouchers for Focu$ DIY store which bought the flooring stacked up in the hall waiting to put down, but mostly the odd book or something, so I never think the internet ones are as good to enter these days

Where do you find your to do Aureol - all on the internet? Mind you I have never checked the Comp thread on here - not once, which is silly really 3Dogs makes mental note to check comp thread tomorrow

Morning All. Rise and shine. Mr Blind popped by last night and had a chat. The one we always raise a toast to and he is respected by everyone that knows him. He is a true hero, he does what is right and we have all been blessed to know him.

(In case anyone isn't familiar with his usual place) here is what he said:

Thanks Mr Blind. Much appreciated as always.

3Dogs, I belong to a Comping group and have done for several years, I used to find all the comps through them. They are all die hard compers who did the tie breakers, boy do they miss those, purchase an item to enter a comp, and nowadays, facebook, twitter, websites, etc.

I find comps everywhere, but I do not use MSE to find them. Sometimes in store, when buying products I would normally buy I see something with a comp, CocaCola were running comps with their bottles, Lucozade were running win iPhones, and people at work were buying them, so they used to give me their codes, never won though.

I have won quite a bit through facebook and twitter, if you check out my profile, you will see the comps I am currently playing.

Recently won lots of books, keep meaning to ask local man in the market how much he will give me for them. They are not my types of books, and don't have time to read them.

I also subscribe to a lot of newsletters with companies, I know it is a pain to receive them, but I open, scan for any comps on them, and then delete. So worth it, Morr!sons, L"dl, etc. L2dl was good for the in house coffee at only 25p! It was nice coffee too.

Don't know if any of you do this?

    https://www.coinks.com/

but might be worth it if you already buy the products, etc.
