    Hi Phil

I think we need to compromise here. I posted earlier so that everyone knew what we'd agreed. I can't see a problem with 3dogs chatting about anything and everything on her own diary thread if that's what she wants, and that includes youtube links. If that kind of thing helps reduce her stress levels then I don't know about you, but I'm all for it, as long as she does find any relevant info to help her actual situation in amongst it all.

    Andrea :)

Ps., I'm aware some people may read through the thread from where they last left off, and reply to posts on here before they see mine, that's fine :)

  • Hi,

If someone posts something breaking our rules by all means report it if you feel it's really serious and we should be spending our time looking at it rather than helping people save money.

But if the whole thread is really bothering you could I suggest you start reading other peoples' threads instead?

    Thanks!

    Andrea :)

Hi friends - and thanks again for last night when you all cheered me up in so many ways when I most needed it - as I said before the support from MSE members is fantastic :A:A

Most of all SSA :A many thanks for the Insolvency Service News link which looks like it will ease our situation greatly. If Mr 3Dogs will be able to apply for a Debt Relief Order come April 2011, the future will indeed by very bright for us at last

I will be online until about 1.30 pm and then I'm going to visit Mam at the home with my brother and sister to see if we can sort out her medication, or lack of it, with her doctor - wish me luck x

    Afternoon 3Dogs :)

It looks like you can apply for a DRO? Going to have to read back! Really, what has changed?Or is it the DRo that's changed?

Ayway, i'll do a bit digging myself.

Hope you can stay strong when you talk to the doctor. Tough time for you all round. My mam is coping ok with what we had to deal with last week. She's reminiscing more now so good signs that shes accepted what happened to Aunty and going to move on.

Anyway, i'm off to see what's going on with DRO's x

Hiya MicheH - yes I had already applied for my DRO and waiting to hear back from CCCS to confirm my details and get the application in

But the rules have changed on pensions to take effect april 2011 - at present anyone with a pension fund of more than £300 could not apply, but they are changing it to tally with Bankruptcy in that pension funds will no longer be classed as assets - good news not just for me but for lots of people :j

Glad you Mam is settling down, it is a very difficult time ((hugs))

    ((((Susan and MicheH)))))

    good luck today Susan.

the only moneysaving advice I have at the moment, is don't pour hot fat down the sink drain and don't use soda crystals. If they don't dissolve, they harden!

No ring :( I will keep looking in my mess of a house.

    Hi 3D!

Just to let you know that I am thinking about you. I am glad things are moving forward and that your mum is been looked after. I only get online at the moment on my lunch breaks so am just reading here and there.

    All the best!!
